Job description :

Technical Project Manager Position Summary:

  • 8 years’ experience working in IT industry.
  • Development experience in any programming language such as C/C ,.NET, PHP, Java or others.
  • Experience in different software development methodologies including Agile scrum, Kanban and typical waterfall model.
  • Experience working with Agile scrum tools such as JIRA, Asana and project management tools such MS Project plan.
  • Develop and manage project plans, scope, and schedules.
  • Experience in leading and guiding offshore development team in design, architecture, implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Allocating tasks to offshore team as per plan.
  • Monitoring, mentoring and motivating development team and reviewing their progress to meet client committed deadlines with quality deliverables.
  • Experience in client management – Requirements discussion, clarification, status updates and expectation management.
  • Interact with the client stakeholders to define and finalize the project objectives and scope.
  • Aware of the latest trends in technology and ability to suggest and present solutions to client.
  • Managing and solving client issues and escalations.

Requirements

Technical Project Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships by conducting regular meetings for progress review feedback, and client concerns;
  • Regularly meet with development teams to ensure client requirements are clear, monitor progress, and work on architecture, design, and development;
  • Set delivery expectations with clients and development teams, plus work closely with QA teams to deliver quality code;
  • Help to grow accounts by identifying improvements or expansions in scope on projects.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have experience working with programming languages including .NET, Java, PHP, C/C , etc.
  • Experience working with and managing offshore development teams
  • Has been part of software development projects or has worked as a programmer in the past
  • Has experience in managing multiple projects with different clients and development teams
